Various sizes and weights had been field tested over a two year process. The 2 Salt Rollers we offer are of optimum size and weight. Longer then 15" will not imprint unlevel areas or dips in the surface of your concrete. A longer and/or heavier roller will become cumbersome to transport and also difficult to maneuver when pivoting on your concrete surface. Heavier rollers can gouge or cause scrape marks when changing directions. We have designed this tool to be a One-Man System.
15" Roller - may seem small, but a large surface area can be imprinted quickly without the need for a longer size. (Approximately 7 pounds)
7" Margin Roller - Has a flush edge that will enable you to get an impression all the way up against a wall, step or the edge of your forms. (Approximately 4 pounds)

Our roller is constructed of all steel. You should not experience wear on the nubs of the rollers.
This tool can be used to meet various desired looks, such as, shallow imprint or deep imprint, heavy salt or light salt, and any combination of these. These variances can be achieved by the degree of firmness of the concrete and the number of passes. We are sure you will love the versatility of our product. Never again have the undesired look of an uneven texture. No more missed areas of salt that did not get pounded or rolled in. The ease and quickness this product provides helps you to finish your job with fewer man hours, resulting in higher profits. This tool is also maintenance free.
The Salt Roller accommodates any snap on or screw on handle attachment. Several poles can be used effortlessly to cover large areas.

This roller will not leave seam lines. You can roll over a previous pass without a negative effect on the pattern. If you do not like the test result, simply trowel out pass, then wait and try again until desired look is achieved. You can roll out your imprint in any direction you desire, there are no set directions on your passes. Requires no prior skill or experience of salt texturing. Our Salt Roller produces a clearer and more attractive look then having used salt.

You will no longer have to purchase salt or hand work or roll it in. The job is complete once rolling is done. This eliminates having to return the following day to power wash the salt out. There are no streaks left by salt residue either. No other equipment is needed to produce this texture and is done without any outside power source. Reopen any joints and edge without any complications.

This tool is designed to work wet on wet concrete. This eliminates messy and environmentally damaging release agents. No need for plastic and its headaches. Since we have eliminated salt, your client's plants and grass will no longer be detrimentally affected. No EPA cleanup concerns.
A cooking spray such as "Pam" can be used without harm to the concrete or environment and helps reduce the tendency of concrete buildup
on the tool. The tool can be cleaned up with water, or if allowed to dry on the tool, then a wire brush can be used.
